Do You Believe, 'Coaching is Your True Calling?'
Mar 20, 2023
It is fascinating to consider how each of us finds a path in life that we travel year after year that may or may not support us in living a life of passion, fulfillment, and significance in the way we would like. If you want to coach others, then first assess your own life satisfaction.
Whatever your life looks like for you, the answers to these questions define how powerfully you play the game of life. This is all the more satisfying when you, the coach, have taken the time for your own self-discovery.
As coaches, we hold a space for our clients to explore their ideas and the vision they ideally desire for themselves.
How powerfully do you show up every day?
How much do you fully engage and enjoy each moment, no matter where you are or what you are doing.
How much do your daily actions align with who you really are?
How often are you focusing your mind on being who you want to be, doing what truly inspires you, or experiencing the results that you know you can produce? Are you being your authentic self? Are you living it fully?
We ask our client to acknowledge their unique set of skills, and how this might help them give life to a truly gratifying future. As coaches, we hold a space for our clients to explore their ideas and the vision they ideally desire for themselves.
As a coach are you being your authentic self?
Are you living it fully?
Are you able to set aside your needs and goals in the interest of helping others meet theirs?
Building rapport and developing a meaningful connection with people of different interests comes easily and quickly to you?
Do you appreciate how every individual is different and enjoy helping people find their own unique solutions?
Are you a good listener and possess abilities to be non-judgmental and non-critical?
Do you have good instincts and intuition that you can guide your client in times of challenge and great stress?
Do you have a strong sense of values and act with integrity in both your personal and business life?
It’s important to connect with your calling if coaching is your real calling.
Finding your true calling is something more than a “Buzzword”.
